Beauty RX: bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer

I always like to use a product for a few months before I give a review or recommend it. I didn't realize until the other day that I hadn't talked about my current favorite beauty product. Only after discussing concealers on a group text did I realize I hadn't posted about this concealer!

I've already sang the praises of this Bare Escentuals foundation and still use it everyday! More recently I have started using the bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer. I needed something to cover my dark circles and even out a few areas around my nose. I looked at a few different concealers but liked the reviews of this one. After a couple tries I was not disappointed! It is thick enough to cover my dark circles even when they are at their worst.
It has a staying power that not many other concealers do. Even after a long day, the concealer has stayed put and not wandered to other parts of my face.  I have seen a difference in the texture of my skin too, and I think it is from the serum aspect of the concealer. The serum also makes the concealer super blendable. You can layer it for those areas that need a bit extra cover.

Application
This is how I use the bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer in my daily makeup routine. My problem areas are under eye circles and redness around my nose.

  1. Apply Bare Escentuals foundation all over my face (see here).
  2. Apply a liberal amount of concealer under each eye.
  3. Using this brush, I blend the concealer out in an upside down triangle shape below my eyelid. I concentrate more of the concealer on the inside part because that is where I have the most darkness.
  4. Dot a small amount on the red areas around my nose. I then use the same brush to blend the concealer.
  5. Brush translucent powder over my entire face to set the foundation and concealer.
  6. Finish with the rest of your makeup routine.
Sometimes I'll also apply a small amount around my lips, if I plan to wear a darker or bold lipstick color. The concealer will help prevent the color from bleeding.
