Despite the abnormally warm weather we have been having, it really does feel like the Christmas Season! I love driving thru neighborhoods looking at lights. This weekend I also did my first round of Christmas baking.
I think sequins can be fun, even for a more casual party. Turtlenecks are very popular this season and this classic cable knit is a great piece for your wardrobe. Pairing the soft sweater with the sequin skirt is a fun way to mix up your look! Mixing classic pieces with more trendy items is a great way to extend your wardrobe. It's also a way to feel more confident with something outside your comfort zone. To keep up the casual look of the casual sweater and sequin skirt keep the shoes flat. My personal favorite is a pair of knee high boots. If ballet flats are more your style, these would look great to! Either shoe option would work well with tights, A couple simple accessories and a bag is all you need to complete your look!
