Anyone love the 4th of July as much as I do? Cookouts, lake trips and fireworks are on my itinerary for the next couple weeks along with wearing all the patriotic colors. I thought I'd put together some inspiration for my outfits for the next couple weeks!

Sliding into Summer

The first day of Summer is tomorrow. Can you believe it? I have just finished a month of weekend trips and am ready for a few more weekends of no plans and just enjoying the Summer.

Lately one of my favorite shoes styles has been slides, in particular slide sandals! They've become my go to weekend shoe and also the first thing I change into after work. I think I've been drawn to him so much because of their versatility to go with both dressy and casual items. My favorite way to wear them is with casual dresses and a crossbody bag. Ideal for everything from brunch with the girls to running errands.

On a recent trip to Chicago these slides are basically the only thing I wore! We walked all around the city and I didn't have a single blister. I may need to get them in a few other colors. I couldn't resist the raffia bows on these slides and I had to order them in the poppy color. I hope they come in time for an event I'm going to this weekend. They'll also be perfect for the fourth of July!
